YoungStars business mentoring training program gave 25 youth the opportunity to address an issue and meet the need to create a business. They chose soap manufacturing to get dangerous chemicals out of our daily detergents.

 

Through our research, we found that these toxic chemicals can bypass normal water treatment plants and get expelled directly into our rivers and streams, causing ecological damage and harm to all life (people and animals that are dependent on these water resources).

In a year and a half time frame, we have planned and developed a mobile manufacturing “all-natural soap” plant. We started with safe laundry detergent products. We currently provide natural soaps to a few small to medium businesses in the community.  We would love to work with your company to increase and up-scale to a larger platform.

Collaboratively we can effectively provide access to change in this next generation as well as provide an opportunity to address those who are underrepresented and served, such as low-income families who can’t afford to purchase higher-priced detergents. Through our business model, we have been training individuals with disabilities who are normally overlooked and excluded from employment by other companies. We present to you Starganic LLC.
